• About Claire Quartel

I have worked in the field of Natural Health Therapies for over 30 years, specialising in Life Coaching, Aromatherapy, Therapeutic and Deep Relaxation Massage and Stress Management.

During my years as an Aromatherapist and Natural Health Practitioner, I had the pleasure and privilege of being a Tutor of Aromatherapy & Massage in London, for Robert Tisserand, founder of the world famous 'Tisserand Institute', the leading organization of research and education in the art and practice of aromatherapy.

I was also honoured to teach Diploma level Aromatherapy and Massage for the 'Raworth Centre of Natural Health Studies', in Dorking Surrey, for many years.

Life became even more exciting when I joined 'In Essence Aromatherapy' in Melbourne, Australia and worked as their Tutor of Aromatherapy & Massage, once again teaching Diploma level students.

As a private tutor, I have taught extensively in central London, Surrey, Dorset, Devon, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth (where I lived for five years) to hundreds of students, from total beginners to advanced diploma level.

Working with so many enthusiastic students has been incredibly rewarding for me, and to this day I value my work as creating some of the happiest times of my life.

In 2013 I decided it was time that high profile speakers, those who are leaders in the fields of well-being and self-development, should venture out of central London and share their work with us in the South. To this end, I founded 'Conscious Living Events' in Dorset and became renowned for hosting fabulous monthly events for 'A-list' speakers.

Three years later I created ‘Living Now Events' in Devon, this time bringing the speakers to the South-West. Being in such a beautiful part of the UK these events and workshops are proving to be hugely popular with both speakers and guests alike.

These days I not only run Living Now Events but also have a thriving private therapy practice which is focused on my work as a Life Balance coach, as well as hosting my own regular Self-Care and Aromatherapy workshops.

I look forward to meeting you and sharing my work with you in the future.

‘Self-Care for the Soul’

Who is Self-Care for?

That may sound like a silly question. But ask yourself this, “What do I do on a daily basis which nourishes my mind, body and soul”? The emphasis here is the word ‘daily’. So, of course, it’s for all of us. But, it takes a special person to not only realise that they need it but to actually do something about it. We all know when ‘things are not quite right’, so rather than putting more and more of your already depleted energy in doing what you’ve always done, perhaps the time has come to give yourself the support you truly deserve?

What happens in the ‘Self-Care for the Soul’ workshop?

Well, firstly you’ll spend time at home completing a questionnaire, answering gentle yet thought-provoking questions which will help you re-discover your true self.

At the workshop we’ll start with a relaxing session where you will get the opportunity to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. We’ll talk about where you’re at now, where you feel out of balance and where you’d like to regain your zest for life.

We’ll discuss simple Self-Care boosters which you can use on a daily basis.

We’ll play with the different ways you can restore and refill your Energy Bank Balance.

We’ll look at how to use these resources to cope with everyday stress and life’s unexpected curve balls.

We’ll gently revisit your past to examine the experiences that have led you to where you are today.

We’ll get specific on all the areas of your life that you would like to change.

We’ll re-discover your goals, your desires and your dreams.

We’ll uncover any limiting beliefs and fears that may stand between you and the life you truly want to live.

And finally, armed with new ideas, resources and a renewed zest for life, you’ll leave with the energy you thought you’d lost forever!
